The Best Cars for Skill Point Farming
1998 Subaru Impreza 22B-STI Version
This is probably the most popular farming car in the game right now, especially for EventLab and AFK-style farming routes.
The reason is simple: its Car Mastery tree can unlock a massive 9x Skill Multiplier. Most cars cap at 5x, so the difference is huge. You need far fewer raw points to reach the 500,000 cap, which means faster Skill Points with less effort.
It is also relatively cheap compared to many high-end cars, making it one of the best value farming vehicles in FH6. If someone only wants to buy one farming car, this is usually the safest choice.
Best use cases:
EventLab mastery farms
AFK-assisted farming
General free roam combo building
Ford F-150 Raptor R Welcome Pack
If you prefer smashing through the open world instead of drifting endlessly, this truck is excellent.
Its mastery perks are built for chaos farming:
7x max multiplier
3x faster multiplier build speed
Extra XP bonuses
Higher ultimate chain scores
Because Japan’s map has plenty of destructible objects and off-road areas, the Raptor feels very comfortable during long farming sessions. You can just drive through fences, trees, signs, and traffic while maintaining huge chains.
Best use cases:
Open-world destruction farming
Off-road combo routes
Relaxed farming sessions
2016 Formula Drift #530 HSV Maloo Gen-F
For players who actually enjoy manual farming, this is one of the most fun options.
This Formula Drift truck heavily boosts drift-related scores and becomes especially strong during Skill Songs. The combo generation speed is extremely fast once you start linking drifts together.
Unlike some farming vehicles that feel boring after a while, the Maloo keeps things active because you are constantly controlling slides and maintaining momentum yourself.
Best use cases:
Drift farming
Mountain road farming
Skill Song grinding
2020 Ford Super Duty F-450
This thing feels like a heavier alternative to the Raptor.
It has:
7x multiplier cap
Faster combo generation
Strong free roam bonuses
Great stability during messy runs
The biggest advantage is consistency. Even when you accidentally hit objects or land awkwardly, the truck usually keeps going without completely ruining your chain.
Best use cases:
Easy free roam farming
Beginners learning combo routes
Long farming sessions
Subaru BRZ Forza Edition
This car is made for players who like drifting mountain roads.
Its perks extend skill chain duration and improve combo score bonuses, making it easier to recover between corners without losing the chain. On downhill roads, you can keep drifts connected for surprisingly long periods.
It is not as brainless as EventLab farming with the Subaru 22B, but it is much more enjoyable if you want to actively play while earning Skill Points.
Best use cases:
Mountain drifting
Manual combo farming
Free roam drifting routes
What Actually Makes a Good Farming Car?
Not every fast car is good for farming. The best farming vehicles usually have three important traits.
Attribute Recommended Tier Why It Matters
Max Multiplier 7x to 9x Higher multipliers reduce the amount of base score needed
Multiplier Speed 2.5x to 3.0x faster Helps you reach max multiplier almost immediately
Extra Life Perk Essential Lets your combo survive one crash
The “Extra Life” perk is especially important. Without it, one small mistake can instantly destroy your chain and waste time.
The 500,000 Point Rule
A lot of players keep building chains way longer than necessary.
In FH6, you earn 1 Skill Point for every 50,000 score, and one combo can only award a maximum of 10 Skill Points. That means there is basically no reason to push past 500,000 total score in a single chain.
Once you hit that number, bank it immediately and start over.
Here is the easy math:
9x multiplier cars only need about 55,556 base score
7x multiplier cars need around 71,429 base score
This is why multiplier perks matter so much. A stronger multiplier means less actual work.
Fast EventLab Farming Method
A huge part of the community now farms Skill Points through custom EventLab maps.
The process is simple:
Open Creative Hub
Enter Horizon EventLab
Search for popular mastery farms
Turn on driving assists
Use the Subaru 22B
Hold the accelerator
Most good farming maps are designed to automatically smash objects nonstop while maintaining combo chains. With the right setup, players can earn around 9 to 10 Skill Points every minute without much input.
It honestly feels closer to an idle game than a racing game, but if your goal is unlocking Car Mastery perks quickly, it is still the fastest method available right now.
There are plenty of usable farming cars in FH6, but a few clearly dominate the meta.
The Subaru 22B is still the overall king because of the absurd 9x multiplier. The Raptor R and F-450 are great for relaxed free roam farming, while the Formula Drift Maloo and BRZ FE are better if you want something more active and enjoyable.
At the end of the day, the best farming car is probably the one that keeps you from getting bored. Skill Point grinding gets repetitive fast, so using a vehicle that matches your playstyle makes a big difference over long sessions.
